THE CHARMINGLY LANDSCAPED BRDO PARK IS A TREASURE TROVE OF CARNIOLAN ARISTOCRATIC HISTORY
On a relaxing stroll through the park, you can admire the rich flora and fauna and discover many sights, such as Brdo Castle, the former castle outbuilding, the old orangery, a typical Slovenian beehive, and the straw-roofed double hayracks (toplarji).
This is Slovenia in miniature. You can also meet Lipizzaner horses, who will give you a very friendly welcome.
The park is open daily, from 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM. In the event of a protocol event or force majeure, Brdo Park may be closed to visitors, so we recommend checking our website news or calling us at +386 (0)4 260 1200 before your planned visit.
Daily and annual park tickets can be purchased at the reception at the park entrance. Residents within the Kranj Administrative Unit receive a 25% discount on the purchase of annual tickets.
By paying the entrance fee, all visitors contribute to the implementation of measures for the protection of rare animal and plant species living on the Brdo Estate within the Natura 2000 protected area.
Pets are not allowed in the park.
