The hotel is named after the blue-tailed damselfly, a dragonfly with the Latin name Ischnura
Elegans, which reflects a pristine environment and is one of 32 dragonfly species living on the Brdo Estate.
Many species of these graceful flyers have found their home at Brdo,
serving not only as proof of unspoiled nature but also symbolizing new opportunities for development.
Through our comprehensive commitment to environmentally conscious practices, we have obtained the internationally renowned Green Key certificate for Elegans Hotel Brdo, Brdo Congress Centre, Strmol Castle and Vila Bled. Additionally, we have become members of the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism and obtained the Slovenia Green Accommodation certificate. For Elegans hotel Brdo restaurant and Vila Bled restaurant obtained the Slovenia Green Cuisine certificate.

The offer is local, organic and home-made. We collaborate with surrounding farms but also work to create our own, house products. We await you with a variety of experiences for all ages and accommodation at the highest level of comfort.

An additional charge of €35 per night applies for accommodation with a pet.
To ensure a peaceful and orderly environment for all guests, pets are not allowed in the wellness center or in Brdo Park.
