At JGZ Brdo, we are dedicated to fostering the sustainable development of our social and natural environment,

surroundings and rich cultural heritage, which we actively preserve through responsible business practices
in various areas, from mobility to gastronomy.

Through our comprehensive commitment to environmentally conscious practices, we have obtained the internationally renowned Green Key certificate for Elegans Hotel Brdo, Brdo Congress Centre, Strmol Castle and Vila Bled. Additionally, we have become members of the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism and obtained the Slovenia Green Accommodation certificate.

At JGZ Brdo, every protocol site adheres to European and national guidelines and aligns with the objectives for sustainable development. We prioritize resource efficiency and the reduction of our operational environmental impact.

GREEN PRACTICES

REDUCING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

At Elegans Hotel Brdo, Vila Bled, and Strmol Castle, we strive to use energy efficiently, incorporate renewable resources wherever possible and actively reduce water consumption, as well as educate our employees, guests, and visitors about water efficiency. We reduce our negative impact on the environment by strict waste segregation. We have also introduced water-saving taps in our accommodations, providing guests with drinking water and encouraging responsible consumption. Furthermore, we save a significant amount of water by changing bed linens and towels only upon guests’ request during their stay. Our facilities feature modern, ecological and environmentally friendly technical installations, including energy-efficient LED lighting. We use key cards to control electricity in guest rooms, promoting energy conservation. As members of the Slovenian Eko iniciativa community, we contribute to reducing packaging waste by purchasing environmentally friendly toiletries and employ cleaners and detergents that are better for the environment.

In our commitment to green mobility, we provide guests with options that have the smallest possible carbon footprint. Our hotel features a parking area with charging stations for electric cars, and we take pride in hosting Gorenjska’s first electric bike storage. Here, guests can rent electric bikes charged with energy generated by solar panels on the roof of the bike storage.

CARING FOR NATURE

The Brdo Estate proudly holds the distinction of being a Natura 2000 site. Within this estate lies a forest, designated as a special-purpose area, where JGZ Brdo diligently upholds a commitment to adhering to protection and conservation measures for these invaluable natural spaces. Our active involvement extends to fostering pollinator-friendly green spaces and combating invasive species that pose threats to local flora and fauna. We consistently plant and maintain native species in our gardens and outdoor areas, ensuring optimal conditions for the preservation of local biodiversity. Furthermore, our commitment to environmental stewardship includes reducing noise pollution through the use of battery-powered lawnmowers. By contributing to the Brdo Park entrance fee, all visitors directly support the implementation of vital measures aimed at safeguarding the rare and precious species of flora and fauna that call our estate home.

At Brdo, we are committed to buying food, products and services from local providers. This not only bolsters the local economy but also creates employment opportunities within our community. Additionally, by reducing the need for long-distance transportation, we minimize emissions and lower transport costs. We firmly believe that by incorporating local food, identity and heritage into our guest experience, we enrich their stay while simultaneously enhancing the value of locally produced goods. In crafting our menus, we prioritize local, seasonal, high-quality and home-made ingredients.

GREEN EXPERIENCES

At the Brdo JGZ estates, we offer a number of outdoor experiences. One such delightful option is our picnic basket, full of delicacies from local producers. The offer includes a rental of an electric vehicle, which allows you to explore every corner of Brdo Park at your own pace. Our wildlife and bird-watching activities are also extremely popular. With over 500 years of uninterrupted development, our estate has evolved into a unique classroom of history, culture, architecture and nature. We organize both individual and group excursions within the enclosed part of the Brdo Estate, offering guests the chance to observe and photograph game and birds in their natural habitat. For those with a passion for sports, our cycling experience along the Brdo lakes is an absolute must. With 11 picturesque lakes, numerous winding paths and charming bridges set against the backdrop of the majestic Alps, this journey promises to be unforgettable.

You can also reserve a picnic basket amidst the lush greenery of Strmol Castle, situated right next to the lake. At Vila Bled, we offer a unique picnic experience that includes a boat excursion on Lake Bled.

CULTURE AND NATURA 2000

The Brdo Estate has been declared a cultural monument of national importance and a natural site of national importance. Its remarkable habitat diversity has led to its designation as a special-purpose forest, an ecologically vital area and a Natura 2000 protected site – an extensive nature conservation network of the European Union, recognized as one of the world’s largest conservation areas.

In 2004, Strmol Castle was also declared a cultural monument of national significance. It was fully restored between 2010 and 2012 in order to preserve its rich cultural heritage.

On the shore of the lake and surrounded by a large park, Vila Bled stands as one of the most enchanting cultural attractions of Bled. Its rich history, particularly interesting for its architectural and artistic significance, makes it one of the most important cultural and historical monuments in Slovenia.

INFORMACIJE O KORONAUKREPIH

Vaše zdravje je naša prioriteta.

Vaše počutje je naša prednostna naloga, zato Vam v času epidemije nudimo koristne informacije in priporočila za brezskrbno preživljanje dopusta. Obenem Vam svetujemo, da redno spremljate novosti v zvezi s trenutno situacijo in dosledno upoštevate varnostne smernice na aktualnih spletnih straneh.

V Sloveniji je od 15. junija 2021 razglašen konec epidemije, kljub ugodnejši epidemiološki sliki pa določeni ukrepi še vedno ostajajo v veljavi:

Pogoj PCT morajo izpolnjevati tako ponudniki kot gostje:

znotraj gostinskih objektov,
v vseh turističnih namestitvah (hotelih, apartmajih, vilah),
na vseh kulturnih in športnih prireditvah,
na javnih shodih in dogodkih z nad 100 udeleženci,
pri kongresni dejavnosti.

Pogoj PCT ni obvezen za otroke do 18. leta starosti (v primeru kulturne ali športne prireditve za otroke do 15. leta starosti), ki so v spremstvu ožjih družinskih članov ali skrbnikov.

Nošenje zaščitne maske ob izpolnjevanju pogojev PCT ni več obvezno za:
goste znotraj gostinskih lokalov,
goste v nastanitvenih obratih,
udeležence kongresnih srečanj v notranjih prostorih,
obiskovalce kulturnih prireditev ter
gledalce na športnih dogodkih.

V ostalih primerih je uporaba zaščitne maske v zaprtih javnih prostorih še vedno obvezna. Na prostem je treba upoštevati medosebno razdaljo 1,5 metra. V kolikor to ni mogoče, je obvezna uporaba zaščitne maske.

Omogočena je polna zasedenost kapacitet za:

kulturne prireditve,
športne dogodke,
kongresne dejavnosti.

ENOTNI POGOJI VSTOPA ZA POTNIKE

Vstop v Slovenijo je brez napotitve v karanteno dovoljen osebi, ki predloži enega od naslednjih dokumentov:

negativen rezultat PCR na COVID-19, ki ni starejši od 72 ur od dneva odvzema brisa,
negativen rezultat testa HAG, ki ni starejši od 48 ur od odvzema brisa,
potrdilo o prebolelosti – dokazilo o pozitivnem rezultatu testa PCR, ki je starejši od 10 dni, vendar ni starejši od 6 mesecev, ali potrdilo zdravnika o prebolelem COVID-19, ki od začetka simptomov ni minilo več kot 6 mesecev.
potrdilo o cepljenju zoper COVID-19, s katerim se dokazuje, da je preteklo od prejema:
– drugega odmerka cepiva Comirnaty proizvajalca Biontech/Pfizer najmanj sedem dni,
– drugega odmerka cepiva COVID-19 Vaccine proizvajalca Moderna najmanj 14 dni,
– prvega odmerka cepiva Vaxzevria (COVID-19 Vaccine) proizvajalca AstraZeneca najmanj 21 dni,
– prvega odmerka cepiva COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen proizvajalca Johnson in Johnson/Janssen-Cilag najmanj 14 dni,
– prvega odmerka cepiva Covishield proizvajalca Serum Institute of India/AstraZeneca najmanj 21 dni,
– drugega odmerka cepiva Sputnik V proizvajalca Russia’s Gamaleya National Centre of Epidemiology and Microbiology najmanj 14 dni,
– drugega odmerka cepiva CoronaVac proizvajalca Sinovac Biotech najmanj 14 dni ali
– drugega odmerka cepiva COVID-19 Vaccine proizvajalca Sinopharm najmanj 14 dni.
Evropsko digitalno covid potrdilo v digitalni ali fizični obliki, ki vsebuje podatke o negativnem rezultatu testa PCR ali testa HAG, potrdilo o prebolelosti, potrdilo o cepljenju ali potrdilo o cepljenju za prebolevnike (EU DCP),
digitalno covid potrdilo tretje države v digitalni ali fizični obliki, ki vsebuje vsaj enake podatke kot EU DCP in ga je pistojni zdravstveni organ tretje države izdal v angleškem jeziku.

10-DNEVNA KARANTENA

Če oseba ne predloži nobenega od navedenih dokumentov, je zanjo obvezna 10-dnevna karantena. Če gre za tujega državljana brez stalnega prebivališča v Sloveniji, se ga napoti v 10-dnevno karanteno le pod pogojem, da ima zagotovljen prostor prestajanja karantene. V nasprotnem primeru se mu vstop v Slovenijo prepove.
Prestajanje karantene pod nobenim pogojem ni mogoče v turističnih nastanitvah.

PREVENTIVNI UKREPI SO ODLOČILNEGA POMENA.

K uspešni zajezitvi širjenja bolezni pripomore odgovorno vedenje do sebe in drugih, kar pomeni, da dosledno izvajamo sledeče preventivne ukrepe:

omejeno gibanje in zadrževanje gostov na recepciji,
ohranjanje varnostne razdalje na prostoru okrog recepcije,
dostopnost zaščitnih mask, razkužil in rokavic,
razpoložljivost sredstev za razkuževanje rok pri vhodu v objekt ali v preddverju,
obvezna uporaba zaščitne maske znotraj gostilniških obratov,
razpored miz, ki omogočajo varno razdaljo med gosti,
razkuževanje miz, jedilnih listov, cenikov in vseh ostalih predmetov na mizi ter zamenjava pogrinjka za vsakim gostom,
dostopnost informacij za goste o novih postopkih čiščenja sob in zamenjavi posteljnine,
dostopnost priporočil za pravilno umivanje rok na javnih straniščih,
priprava dvoran in prostorov za kongrese v skladu z aktualnimi priporočili za javno zdravje z dvometrsko razdaljo med stoli,
največje število udeležencev v skladu z odločitvijo nacionalnega štaba.
