On September 30, 2026, in Ljubljana, Minister of Culture Dr Ignacija Fridl Jarc and Mag. Marjan Hribar, Acting Director of JGZ Brdo, signed an agreement on the handover of Turjak Castle for use.
We are proud to be taking over Turjak Castle and commit to preserving its cultural heritage and delivering events to the highest state and protocol standards. The offer will be complemented by guided tours, a castle café, Hotel Turjak Castle, and castle halls for commercial and protocol events.
We have already opened the castle café.
It will be open from Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 to 18:00.
