In 2004, Strmol Castle was declared a cultural monument of national importance. It was fully restored between 2010 and 2012 in order to preserve its rich cultural heritage. Experience the charm of centuries of history, enjoy superb cuisine, and the luxurious comfort it offers. We have prepared two different offers for a private stay at the castle.
LORD OF THE MANOR FOR THE WEEKEND
Upon arrival at the castle, the castle concierge will prepare a reception for you in the Red Salon. After settling into your room, dinner with wine pairing and a guided spirits tasting will follow. On the second day, indulge in the timelessness of the castle walls or explore the surroundings. We can organize a guided tour of Cerklje na Gorenjskem or castle knight games for you. This is followed by a themed dinner, served in various rooms alongside a presentation of the castle’s history. On the day of departure, we will prepare a breakfast of local delicacies for you.
CASTLE GETAWAY
On the day of arrival, we prepare a program to get to know the castle with a sparkling wine tasting. This is followed by a themed team-building dinner with an emphasis on the artworks in the castle. On the second day, we prepare a castle breakfast for you, followed by a departure for Brdo pri Kranju, where golf carts and a lunch—a picnic basket in the enclosed forest part of the estate—are available to you. This is followed by a coffee ritual at Strmol Castle by the famous painting by Ivana Kobilca – The Coffee Drinker. A Great Gatsby dinner follows. On the last day, we prepare a castle breakfast before your departure.
